Task 2 (trang 51): Make a poster. Write or print the information and stick the pictures on the poster.

Đây là bước trình bày sản phẩm của dự án: em dùng thông tin đã thu thập ở Bài 1 (phỏng vấn người lớn tuổi, tìm ảnh cũ) để làm một tấm áp phích (poster) về khu phố của em cách đây 40 năm. Dưới đây là một bài mẫu em có thể viết/in ra rồi dán ảnh minh hoạ xung quanh.

*Hai Ba Trung Ward – then and now*

a) Houses and streets (Nhà cửa và đường phố)

Forty years ago, my neighbourhood looked very different. There were only a few small houses with tiled roofs, and most of them had a garden. The streets were narrow and made of dirt, so they got very muddy when it rained. There were no tall buildings at all.

b) Transport (Giao thông)

In the past, people didn't have many motorbikes or cars. Most people rode bicycles or walked to work and to school. The streets were quiet and there wasn't much traffic.

There was a small local market where people bought fresh food every morning. There weren't any supermarkets or shopping malls. People knew each other well and often chatted in the market.

d) Entertainment and daily life (Giải trí và đời sống)

Children used to play games in the street, such as hide-and-seek and skipping. Families didn't have smartphones, and only a few homes had a black-and-white television. In the evening, neighbours gathered outside to talk and the children listened to the radio.

e) Conclusion (Kết luận)

Life 40 years ago was simpler and slower, but people felt very close to one another. Today my neighbourhood is more modern and convenient, yet it is also busier and noisier. I am proud to learn about how my neighbourhood has changed over time.

Gợi ý trình bày poster
- Tiêu đề lớn ở trên cùng; chia poster thành các ô theo chủ đề (Houses / Transport / Shops / Entertainment).
- Mỗi ô: một đoạn thông tin ngắn + một ảnh minh hoạa dán cạnh.
- Dùng thì quá khứ (there was/were, used to, people rode…) khi nói về ngày xưa và hiện tại (there is/are, people ride…) khi so sánh với bây giờ.
