Gợi ý trả lời

Gợi ý trình bày (model talk) – nói về món *bánh chưng* (Chung cake):

Hello everyone. Today I'd like to talk about a typical traditional Vietnamese dish: bánh chưng (Chung cake).

a) The name of the dish

- The dish is called bánh chưng. In English, it is often translated as *square sticky rice cake* or *Chung cake*. It has a square shape and is wrapped in *dong* leaves (lá dong).

b) The basic ingredients

- Bánh chưng is made from four main ingredients: glutinous (sticky) rice, green mung beans, fatty pork, and some spices such as pepper and salt.
- Everything is wrapped tightly in *dong* leaves and then boiled in water for about ten to twelve hours.

c) When / on what occasion it is eaten

- Bánh chưng is eaten mainly during Tet, the Lunar New Year (the most important festival in Vietnam).
- Families often make it a few days before Tet and place it on the altar to worship their ancestors. It symbolises the Earth and shows gratitude to parents and ancestors.

d) Whether you like it or not

- I really like bánh chưng very much. I love its soft, fragrant sticky rice and the rich taste of the pork and mung beans. For me, eating bánh chưng makes Tet feel warm and complete. That's all. Thank you for listening.

> *Ghi chú:* Đây là bài nói (speaking) nên không có đáp số tính toán; học sinh có thể thay bằng món khác như *phở*, *nem rán (spring rolls)*, *bánh tét*… miễn là nêu đủ 4 ý trên.
