Giải Bài 2 trang 68 SGK Tiếng Anh 12

SPEAKING - Giving opinions about different jobs   Gợi ý trả lời

Đề bài

Work in pairs. Talk about the jobs in 1 using the adjectives. Compare your answers and explain your opinions and feelings.

Example:
A: I think working as a teaching assistant is a very rewarding job. I can help students who have questions or need encouragement during the lesson.
B: I agree, but it seems like a challenging job. You'll have to be patient and explain the same thing over and over again. It can get very repetitive. Personally, I'd rather be an event volunteer.
A: Why? You won't even get paid for that.
B: I know, but I'll meet interesting people and learn important skills like communication and time management. Besides, volunteer experience can help me find a better job later on.
A: Oh, I get it.

a) Talking about *teaching assistant* (trợ giảng)

> A: I think working as a teaching assistant is a very rewarding job. You get to help students understand the lesson and see them make progress every day.
>
> B: I agree, but I also find it quite demanding. You have to prepare materials, support the teacher and keep an eye on the whole class at the same time.
>
> A: That's true. It can be repetitive too, because you often explain the same thing again and again. Still, I'd love to do it because I enjoy working with children.
>
> B: Personally, I think it's a meaningful job, but I'm not sure I'm patient enough for it.

b) Talking about *event volunteer* (tình nguyện viên sự kiện)

> A: Being an event volunteer seems really exciting to me. You meet a lot of interesting people and the atmosphere is always lively.
>
> B: I agree it's interesting, but it can be exhausting as well. You often have to stand for hours and solve problems on the spot.
>
> A: You won't even get paid for it, though.
>
> B: I know, but it's very valuable experience. You learn important skills like communication and time management, and volunteer work can help you find a better job later on.
>
> A: Oh, I get it. That makes it a worthwhile job after all.

c) Comparing the two jobs (so sánh và nêu cảm nghĩ cá nhân)

> A: So which one would you prefer?
>
> B: I'd rather be a teaching assistant because I find teaching rewarding and I like a stable routine. What about you?
>
> A: I'd choose to be an event volunteer. It's more exciting and flexible, and I love meeting new people, even if it's tiring sometimes.
