b) Câu 2 → B. "Tắt đèn" theo cụm động từ chuẩn trong chương trình là *turn off*. Sửa turn out → turn off: *Don't forget to turn off all lights when the rooms are not in use.*
c) Câu 3 → A. *Find* chỉ hành động "tìm thấy" mang tính tức thời, không dùng ở thì tiếp diễn; đây là hành động ngắn xảy ra trong lúc một hành động dài (*was looking around*) đang diễn ra ⇒ dùng quá khứ đơn. Sửa was finding → found: *I found an interesting biography while I was looking around the bookshop.*
d) Câu 4 → A. *Arrive* là động từ chỉ hành động tức thời (điểm mốc), không dùng tiếp diễn; mệnh đề *when* chỉ thời điểm nên dùng quá khứ đơn. Sửa was arriving → arrived: *When I arrived at my grandparents' house, they were watching a programme...*
e) Câu 5 → B. Tên sông là danh từ riêng luôn đi với mạo từ xác định *the*: *the Amazon*. Sửa an → the: *As the second longest river in the world, the Amazon flows through...*
f) Câu 6 → B. Trước tên nhạc cụ khi nói về việc chơi nhạc cụ, dùng *the*: *play the guitar*. Sửa a → the: *...he also learnt to play the guitar and performed in a band.*
g) Câu 7 → B. "Nộp đơn xin việc" dùng *apply for a job* (còn *apply to* dùng với nơi/công ty). Sửa to → for: *...my brother applied for more than five jobs before...*
h) Câu 8 → C. Đại từ quan hệ thay cho cả mệnh đề trước đó trong mệnh đề quan hệ không xác định (có dấu phẩy) phải là *which*, không dùng *that*. Sửa that → which: *My brother dropped out of school at 15, which made it harder for him to find a job.*
